Hello! Yitsune here. Feel free to call me either Yitsune or Yitsu. I may also go by the nickname, "Yeetsune/Yeetsu" (and other variations of it).I am an artist who draws mostly as a hobby because I am in my 4th year of university as of 2022. It's really busy! I am desiganted to graduate at the end of 2023. In the future, I look to pursuing more time to draw and possibly making a living or some income off from it by opening more commissions or even, consider a Patreon. My username is a little bit ambiguous. Yitsune is Yitsune and Melody is Melody. Melody may share, or be based off, some of my traits but she is her own thing. Not persona. I have a separate character I call "Yitsune" and is based off my irl appearance. Melody is just an OC that I prefer using as a mascot/face of my social media. Maybe in the future, I will do v-tubing as her as my model lol!

4. "WHEN DID YOU START DRAWING?"

I have been drawing actively since mid-2014. It was my first year of highschool. I started with traditional art. Some old art can be found on my DeviantART- not all.I started digital art in 2016. I felt after 2 years, I wanted to draw and develop my own stylised original fanart and drawings. I been doing that since-

5. "What inspired you?"

I drew previously before like any child would have done for fun- stick figures, sun in the corner of the page- that good ol' stuff. It was phases of creativity- writing up stories, videos, crafts, making all sorts of stuff that came to mind.I was originally inspired to draw anime in 2009 after watching 90s Sailor Moon. Though, I knew about Sailor Moon when I was much, much younger because my family owned VHS tapes of it. Suppose my introduction to anime was not the greatest. When I was a toddler, I was scared by the "monster transformations" and "violent themes" lololol. Regardless, watching it again in 2009, I found out I really like magical girls. From there, I filled artbooks of just Sailor Moon characters, as well as Sonic, Powerpuff Girls, OCs etc. too. It was a short phase because I gave up on drawing and stuck with school work instead. In 2014, this spark was realised again after Sailor Moon Crystal reboot. Since then, getting into anime and drawing are heavily-tied interests to me, and each other.Though, in general, I was heavily-inspired by My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I grew up with the show from its beginning (2010) until its end. The series introduced me to the culture and concept of fandoms, fan-work, creators and content. Seeing people make art, animations, OCs, songs, theories etc. is very motivating and inspiring! It opened new doors of perspectives and appreciation. It was to not just consume what you love, but also make things you love too :)
